This item was purchased as a gift for my daughter-in-law who is a new mother. Her interest in this item was to make fresh baby food for the baby. She was a bit disappointed that there were not enough recipes for baby food but she will we able to use the Bullet to assist her in feeding her new little son. She also intends to use the Bullet to make smoothies for her family and to enjoy healthy eating for all of them.

I ordered the Magic Bullet for my daughter who loves her healthy fruit smoothies. She uses this machine at least twice a day every day. She thoroughly loves it and wants me to get me one. She has just raved about how well it makes smoothies.

I bought this in May 2009. We use it roughly once a day, to make my son's health shake. By Christmas, it had quit working. I talked to my sister who has now bought 3 to make my Mother's medicated shakes. She said, no, they don't last very long. She keeps buying them because they are the easiest to use. Smart manufacturers. Make a great product, but make sure it doesn't last long so you have to keep replacing it or go to all the trouble of sending it back in. Not worth it to us. We won't buy another one.
